Fellowship Groups
Crusaders - This group meets on the first Sunday of each month (September -June) for dinner and a program. Occassionally the Crusaders take day trips of interest to members. This group has been meeting for several decades. Its longevity is due to the structure and maintenance of quality progams and support of various church ministries. All adults in the church family are welcome to attend.
Presbyterian Women - All women are invited to attend the meetings of Presbyterian Women. Once a month (September - June) Presbyterian Women fathers for a Bible study and fellowship under the guidance of a chosen Bible study series produced by the national Presbyterian Women. Also once a month, interested members host a birthday party for the residents of Elness Convalescent Hospital. In addition, once a month, crafty members join together for crafts, lunch, and fellowship.
Men's Coffee - Fellowship and sharing, along with a brief devotional, occur over coffee and doughnuts each Wednesday morning at the church at 9:00 am. All interested men are welcome to attend.
Lunch Bunch - This group meets every Thursday at noon in Voight Hall. Bring a bag lunch, microwave meal, or fast food. This group joins in reading through the devotion for the day from These Days, and then engaging in a discussion flowing from the devotion topic.
Table of Eight - Connected by an appreciation of food, this group meets monthly for dinner at the home of a group member. A second Table of Eight is forming, and you can make your reservation by calling the Church office.
Friday Family Films - This series of family nights is planned for the summer months. Each evening will include a family friendly film, either recent or classic. There is still time to suggest favorite movies, or movies that you always wanted to see. Contact a member of the Faith and Life Commission or the Church office for more information and a schedule of events.
College and Young Adults Group - Young adults in and out of college meet twice a month for fellowship and discussion. Discussion leadership is shared among the members of the group, Dr. Dick Freeman, and Rev. Buchanan. At present, the group is meeting at the Freeman home twice a month.
Note that other fellowship groups can be found on the "Special Interest Groups" page.
