Sunday School
Sunday School begins at 9:30
a.m. for pre-school through Sr. High and is a vibrant part of our church's ministry to children. After a few minutes of shared time, classes meet in Marsh Hall. Christian leaders give their time and share their faith each Sunday morning as they help children understand what it means to be a Christian. Bible stories, crafts, singing, games, prayer and fellowship experiences bring Christianity alive. For more information contact Lois Marsh, Sunday School Superintendent, at (209) 632-2324.
Sunday School for children and youth meets during the traditional school year, September through May.
Beginning this coming fall, fifth and sixth graders continue their study of the Old Testament and Junior High students undertake a survey of the entire Bible.
For the Sunday school fall mission project the children will be bringing gifts of diapers (sizes 3, 4 and 5), baby wipes and formula (Similac, please) which are urgently needed by the United Samaritans Foundation for their women's and children's shelter and other families. There will be a basket in the narthex for any in the congregation who wish to participate. These gifts will be dedicated on Stewardship Sunday, and then taken to United Samaritans.
